If you have forgotten your password and are trying several possibilities in an attempt to log into your email or a computer on campus, you may receive a message regarding your account being locked out. This will happen after 5 consecutive failed login attempts in a 30 minute period.
This lockout process is done for your protection to prevent malicious persons from hacking into your account. In this situation, all that is necessary is a quick call to the Computer Services Helpdesk at (816) 501-4357. Please provide your full name and Rockhurst ID number for expedited assistance.
Unlocking an account does not change your password. In the event that your account is locked out due to lost of password, you may need to have your password reset. Please see our documentation on Password Resets to complete that process.
