Stuck, don't know what to do? Can't get a program to open and need one of our staff members to connect to your system and take a look? Getting remote help from RUCS is easy and can be done regardless of if your computer is on our network, at home, is a Rockhurst computer or a personal computer.
If you are on campus AND using a Rockhurst computer
- Call us at (816) 501-4357 and explain your problem
- The Help Desk will send your computer a connection request using our built in Remote Assistance software.
- After you accept the connection, our technicians will be able to view and if needed control your mouse and keyboard to assist you.
If you are off campus OR using a personal computer
- Call us at (816) 501-4357 and explain your problem

(if the image says "Offline Help" refresh this page after the technician instructs you to, if needed, the NTR system is not normally monitored unless specifically requested by a user)
- Follow the technicians instructions on accepting a connection and installing any needed NTR support software.
- After you accept the connection, our technicians will be able to view and if needed control your mouse and keyboard to assist you.
- Close the program when complete. At this point the NTR remote software will be uninstalled from your machine and our staff will no longer be able to access your system without you accepting a session and reinstalling the software.
