Creating Your Rockhurst Account
Setup Your Rockhurst Network Account To create your Rockhurst Network Account, please reset your password using the following instructions: Click Forgot Password for Students, found beneath the login for the Rockhurst Portal, or click here. Fill out the Student Network Account Maintenance form. If you receive an error message, check our Knowledge Base for solutions, or call Computer Services at 816-501-4357 and select Option 0 When prompted, create a security question and answer. This will be used in future password resets. Please note that your answers are case sensitive. At the end of the process you will be given your username and email address. Log into the Rockhurst Portal using your given username and created password. Setup Two Factor Authentication Create one or more methods of Two Factor Authentication. When logging into the Rockhurst Portal for the first time you will be required to setup Account Recovery Settings, also known as Two Factor Authentication. It is strongly recommended to setup as many options as possible. This will ensure you are able to access your account if one option fails. Note that adding more methods does not require their use, but adds them as optional methods. Once one or more options are successfully setup, you can continue to your Portal.

Setting Up Microsoft Office
Installing Microsoft Office Before installing Office, uninstall any previous versions of Office to avoid licensing issues. To install Office: Click the following link: Microsoft Office Enter your Rockhurst email address. Select "I'm a student." Select "Sign in." Authenticate the log-in through the Rockhurst Portal. Select "OK, got it." In the top right corner select "Install Office." Select "Office 365 apps." Run the setup file. If you experience difficulty, try reading through Microsoft Office Install Troubleshooting. Office 365 will come with Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Teams, OneDrive, and more. Please note that your license is only enabled while you are a current student. Setting Up Email On Your Cellphone
Recommended Platform Students and employees are encouraged to use the Microsoft Outlook app for iOS and Android. It is also possible to add your Rockhurst Email inbox to your device's default email app. Setup Outlook for iOS or Android To setup Outlook for iOS or Android device: Click the following link: Outlook for your phone Enter your phone number to receive setup link through text. Alternatively, you can scan the QR code to begin setup Click the provided link, which will take you to the Outlook app on your device's store. Download and open the app. When prompted, enter your Rockhurst email address, and authenticate the login through the Portal. Add your Rockhurst Email inbox to the Mail app for iOS To setup your inbox in the Mail app: Go to Settings, and find Passwords & Accounts. Click Add Account, then select Microsoft Exchange. In the Email field, enter your Rockhurst email address. In the Description field, add a description. Click Sign In, and authenticate the login through the Portal. Add your Rockhurst Email inbox to the Gmail app for Android To setup your inbox in the Gmail app: In the Gmail app, click your profile picture. Click Add another account. Select Exchange. Enter your Rockhurst email address and password, and authenticate the login through the Portal.
