Attention: VPN is only necessary to remotely access objects on the Rockhurst network. Portal and Email access do not require VPN.
Setting up Duo Mobile:
Download Duo Mobile from the App Store or the Google Play Store.
Upon opening the app, you will be prompted to sign in. You can ignore this for now and close the app.
At some point you should have received an email or text from Duo Mobile with a link to authenticate your Duo account through Rockhurst.
Click the link which should automatically open and authenticate the app. You should now be connected with Duo Mobile through Rockhurst.
Connecting to VPN:
Click the Windows icon in the bottom.
Begin typing “Cisco AnyConnect”.
Open Cisco AnyConnect (icon is a silver circle with green and blue ribbons) and connect to “webvpn.rockhurst.edu”.
Have your mobile device ready to authenticate the VPN login with the Duo Mobile app. Enter your Rockhurst credentials.
You should be prompted to authenticate the login through Duo Mobile. You have approximately 10 seconds to authenticate the login.
Authenticate the login with the Duo Mobile app.
You should now be connected and receive a notification confirming your connection.
Disconnecting from VPN:
Click the arrow on the right side of your taskbar at the bottom of the screen.
Click the Cisco AnyConnect icon.
