This solution aims to resolve issues with printing by adding the DNS to your network. Please make sure that you are connected to "RU Wireless" and/or "RU Residents" before beginning. 

 

Instructions:

Open “Control Panel” with the start menu by clicking on the Windows key W

This screen will appear:

 


Type “network” in the search bar on the top right of your screen (but do not hit enter)

There, you will click “View network connections”

Look for Wi-Fi and right-click.

Click on "Properties” on the very bottom


 

There, you will double-click on “Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4)”


Click “Advanced”


 

Click "DNS” at the top.
Near the bottom of the window, for the smaller text box labeled "DNS suffix for this connection:", type “rockhurst.edu”, as seen in the following screenshot, highlighted.



After you complete that, click “OK”. Clicking Cancel or closing out the window
